Shannon Autry MOT, OTR/L (Virtual Therapist)
Shannon has practiced Occupational Therapy for 10 years in multiple settings including pediatric clinics, schools, and home-based early intervention. She has enjoyed working with kids and their families using unique modalities including horses, pools and through telehealth! She is passionate about creating individualized, child-lead therapy experiences that celebrate each child’s unique strengths while supporting meaningful participation in daily life. She believes her super power is building rapport with clients and families so therapy sessions are fun and engaging.
While competing as a student-athlete on the Women’s Swimming & Diving team at San Diego State University, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Child and Family Development. She earned her Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in Northern San Diego area.
When she’s not working she enjoys spending time with her husband, toddler, and 115 lb rescue dog named Star. She enjoys exploring the outdoors of the Reno/Tahoe area, art, coffee, and making memories with her family.
