Shelly Mariano-Secondez MS, CCC-SLP
Shelly is a licensed and ASHA-certified speech-language pathologist who earned her Master of Science in Education in Communication Sciences and Disorders from The College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY. She has experience working in school, clinic, and mental health settings, supporting children with a wide range of communication needs.
Shelly is passionate about using neuro-affirming and strengths-based approaches to foster authentic communication. She enjoys working with articulation and phonological disorders, as well as supporting gestalt language processors, early language, and AAC users. Her practice is grounded in collaboration with families and teams, creating inclusive, play-based learning experiences centered around each child’s interests and lived experiences.
When she’s not in session, you can find Shelly hitting the trails, lifting heavy at the gym, chasing down the best local eats, or enjoying slow, sweet moments with her family.
